TOM PEINE

Tom Peine is a seasoned communications professional with a rich background spanning sales, public relations, public safety, and public affairs.

Born and raised in Germany, Tom began his career in the finance industry with a German education in banking. In 1997, he met his future wife, a U.S. citizen, and transitioned to the software industry, where he excelled as a sales manager and global account manager. He moved to the United States at 36 and eventually became a U.S. citizen.

Not long after naturalizing, Tom embarked on a new chapter in public safety, attending a law enforcement academy and, at nearly 41, becoming a Deputy Sheriff in Pima County, Arizona. Over almost a decade in law enforcement, he served his community with dedication, working in roles that included detective and press spokesperson.

After his service, Tom and his wife moved to Oregon and later Germany, where he joined the U.S. Army’s 7th Army Training Command as a strategic outreach specialist. In 2020, the couple returned stateside to San Antonio, Texas, before settling in Massachusetts.

In 2024, Tom founded Tom Peine Communications, LLC, based in Wilbraham, MA, where he now works with clients across the public safety and communications landscape.
