From the (publishing) frontlines of "Deputy While Immigrant"

It is time for a shoutout! Here is a big “Thank you” to my proofreaders, especially Juergen, Nicole, and Amy, who have spent the past four weeks meticulously combing through the “Deputy While Immigrant” manuscript. It is all said and done now. The edits were submitted to my editor, who is now preparing the layout file for submission to the printer and distributors.

As a result, we are looking forward to publishing within the next 10 days! And here I thought that day might never come. While I do not have a specific date yet, I will send out a short notice to the subscribers of my newsletter (there is one reason to subscribe) once I make that decision. Of course, there will be an announcement on my social media channels as well.

What they had to say

The proofreaders had a lot to share concerning the necessary corrections they identified. They also went beyond the narrow task of proofreading and provided first feedback on what they thought of the book.

Juergen wrote, “I’ve read the book twice in the course of a week. It was quite an adventure you are writing about and fascinating to read as well, so it was hard for me to stop reading sometimes.”

Nicole said, “This book gives a detailed account of Tom’s life experiences as he travels the path of a law enforcement officer. Each story in his journey gives the reader a front row view, like a virtual ride along, to his mindset and emotions as he traverses situations and overcomes obstacles in his life. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the thrilling stories that had me on the edge of my seat."

Finally, Amy said in her comments, “Your book is really engaging and eye opening. I like that I can hear your voice in my head while I read it.”

The countdown has begun!
