Merry Christmas!
Since “Deputy While Immigrant” was published a few weeks ago, it has been pretty intense. Marketing needed to kick into gear (OMG, what a nightmare!), the copyright registration had to be submitted, reviews required to be solicited, book award submissions filed, a sales tax permit applied for, etc. On top of that, despite all the proofreading, I found two errors that need to be corrected.
Here is a quick update on what is going on concerning “Deputy While Immigrant.”
Book sales
I finally received a shipment of paperbacks (It’s a start. Hardcovers will follow.) to be sold as signed copies and they are now available in the online shop on this website (U.S. only).
Unfortunately, I am currently only able to ship within the United States. International sales will follow in 2024. It just requires additional setup and figuring out a shipping option I can offer for a reasonable price.
Podcast Interview
A week ago, I was interviewed for another podcast. I spoke to Maame Baffo in the Netherlands, host and publisher of the podcast “Immigrants Making an Impact.” The episode is being edited and will be available early next year. Keep an eye out. I will put a link on the “Media” page once it’s been published.
I am working on another interview in the coming weeks and will let you know once it’s done and where it will be available.
