What’s new in May?

I’ll keep this one short, but still wanted to share a few facts and a question with you.

As you see in the picture above, I was tickled to receive the legal acknowledgment of my copyright. While the author’s copyright of a written work is automatically implied, you still need to be able to have some sort of proof. Enter the U.S. Copyright Office. It was just another step to take - and it took “only” six months to complete.

Here are some other developments:

  • The website has received a few updates on there, including the latest review quotes, an updated book description, and a link to purchase the book directly from my distributor (which is only possible for U.S.-based readers as they do not ship internationally).

  • I have identified a few independent book stores out here and will approach them as soon as I am able to.

  • The German Consulate General in Boston has received a message from me. Now it is wait-and-see if and how they will react.

Here is a question for you: What do you think about adding a “Photo” section to the website? This would be pictures from my time as a deputy sheriff in Tucson, but also newer pictures related to my activities surrounding the book. Send me an email and let me know what you think.
